Wake Up America:

The Root Cause for Terrorism is Slavery

(Click on links to see references)

Sometime before September 11, 2001, God said to me, "I have not forgotten 300 years of slavery!"  Anyone who doubts this statement can read in the Bible the first 15 chapters of the Book of Exodus.  As God judged Egypt and transferred its wealth to the children of Israel in payment for their 400 years of slavery (Exo. 12:35-36), so  has the written judgment of God's Word come upon the United States and its immense accumulated wealth, for the way that it has treated the African Continent and its former slaves—which, like the children of Israel, He also set free. [See Why New York City's Twin Towers Fell; see also the accompanying page from The Voice of the LordThe Judgments of James 5 and Slavery, and God's Call to the United States]

Let’s look in the Bible at the 5th Chapter of James:

*James 5:1  Go to now, [ye] rich men [the wicked rich], weep and howl for your miseries that shall come upon [you].  2  Your riches are corrupted.  3  Your gold and silver is cankered [corrupted and corroded]; and the rust of them shall be a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as it were fire. Ye have heaped treasure together for the last days [God has allowed the Untied States to accumulate great storehouses of wealth for His use in the last days].

4  Behold [look intently], the hire [the wages or lack thereof] of the labourers who have reaped down your fields [laborers who have reaped down the fields of the United States during 250 years of slavery and 140+ years of a post-reconstruction defacto slavery that has failed to economically absorb all but a few African Americans into the mainstream of blessings that God has given to America], which is of you kept back by fraud [“fraud” is what God calls the economics of slavery and post-slavery share-cropping, minimum wage, below minimum wage, and no benefit jobs manned by those African Americans who are working], crieth [the withheld wages are crying out** to God]: and the cries of them which have reaped [the cries of America's former slaves have been heard by God] are entered into the ears of the Lord of sabaoth [God has heard, and for His Glory He will judge].  5  Ye [the United States of America] have lived in pleasure on the earth [pleasures whose seed-capital formation can be traced directly to the economics of slavery and a failed post-Civil War Reconstruction], and been wanton; ye have nourished your hearts, as in a day of slaughter [c/p. "...a day of the great slaughter when the twin towers fell" (Isa. 30:25)]. 6  Ye have condemned [and] killed the just; [and] he doth not resist you [what a vivid picture of U.S. slavery].

7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord [God is coming with the wealth of the wicked to all of His people, including this nation's former slaves]. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth [it's harvest time], and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain [this latter-rain outpouring of God’s Spirit is for the back-payment of America's vast and just debt to its former slaves; and to return a bountiful harvest of African-American souls back into the body of Christ].  8  Be ye also patient; stablish [establish] your hearts: for the coming of the Lord draweth nigh [this coming of the Lord is not the second coming of Jesus to reign over the earth, or His coming to meet His Bride, the Church, in the air; this coming of the Lord is the judgment written on the wealth of the United States, in order to recompense the economic wrongs of this nation's past on and to its African American population].

**These withheld wages are crying out to God, saying..."Jesus, I am in the wrong hands."]

As a result of the hard bondage and institutionalized Christian-sanctioned terror of this nation on and to its former slaves on both sides of the Civil, the judgments of James 5 have come upon the United States of America. They will continue until the United States as a nation confesses its sins of slavery and its lingering legacy; and then makes restitution like the children of Israel experienced in exodus 12:36 (below). [See also The Voice of the Lord: The Judgments of James 5 and Slavery, and God's Call to the United States]

           II Chronicles 7:14 says:

If my people [called Christians], which are called by my name [again Christians], shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways [their wicked and twisted ways of the present; ways of the near past; and their ways of their historical past as it pertains to a Church-sanctioned slave trade, middle passage, slavery, failed reconstruction, 100 years of lynching, etc., etc.]; then [then and only then] will I [Jesus] hear from heaven, and [I Jesus] will forgive their sin, and [I Jesus] will heal their land [the Church must first repent of its sanctioned treatment of America's slaves and their descendants before God can make good on His promise to heal the land].

In order for the United States of America to be healed as a land and a nation blessed by God, there are four conditions that God’s people must meet.  They must:

1.      Humble themselves [by acknowledging, confessing, and repenting of the sins of this nation against African people according to I John 1:9; and by accepting full and personal responsibility for the inevitable and predictable consequences of these sins—both of commission and omission—on the African American family and community, the lingering effects which are easily seen throughout this nation in the African American communities],

2.      Pray [without ceasing for God to work His will in the lives of all Americans],

3.      Seek God’s face [by letting Him restructure the finances of this nation according to all that He has commanded in His Word, including economic restitution for 250 years of slavery, the pattern of which is set forth in Exodus 12:35-36, see below], and

4.      Turn from their wicked [and twisted] ways [concerning this nation’s wrongful relationship with its money, its poor, and its African American citizens].

Jesus says that when His people meet these conditions, then He will hear from the Father in heaven and will heal this land.

Genesis 15:13-16

13 And he said unto Abram, Know of a surety that thy seed shall be a stranger in a land [that is] not theirs, and shall serve them; and they shall afflict them four hundred years; 14 And also that nation, whom they shall serve, will I judge: and afterward shall they come out with great substance. 15 And thou shalt go to thy fathers in peace; thou shalt be buried in a good old age. 16 But in the fourth generation they shall come hither again: for the iniquity of the Amorites [is] not yet full.

Exodus 12:35-36

35 And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver and jewels of gold, and raiment; 36 And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians..

A word concerning the prophetic significance of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on New York City and Washington, D. C.

I see three areas of prophetic significance in the terrorists' attack of September 11, 2001, which leveled the twin towers of the World Trade Center in New York City [see Why New York City's Twin Towers Fell] and hit the Pentagon [the United States' military headquarters] in Washington, D. C. They are as follows:

            1.    According to Israel's leading rabbis, the judgment of nations spoken of in the 25th Chapter of Jeremiah began on  September 11, 1999 (9/11), the Jewish holy day, Rosh Hashanah.  The twin towers fell two years later on the same day, September 11, 2001 (another 9/11). Peter said, For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God (1 Pet. 4:17). As the primary carrier and sender of the Gospel to the world, the United States both historically and presently can rightly be called the "house of God." The judgment of nations has begun on the USA. God, who had absolutely nothing to do with or in any way sanctioned this attack [although He does reserve unto Himself the timing of events that Satan is allowed to orchestrate], has simply recorded the fall of the twin towers in His Word 2000 years before it would come to pass (see Isa. 30:25).

            2.    This attack on America is the beginning of the end of militant Islam as a middle-Eastern and world religious force. Following the World War II nuclear bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, the gods of Japan were in such disarray that the United States Pacific commander, General Douglas MacArthur, said to..."Send 10,000 missionaries into Japan." Had the United States done so, Japan today would be a Christian nation. We must see the spiritual side of these nuclear attacks as a judgment from God of the gods of Japan, in the identical manner as the 10 plagues that God brought upon Egypt was a judgment of wicked spiritual influences that led Japan to bomb Pearl Harbor (Exo. 12:12). As the United States uses its political, economic and military might (which can be directed by the forcible and effectual prayers of God's people) to root out and destroy terrorism as threat in the earth, God is already at work to open the Middle East to the Gospel; and to bring in millions of these sons of Abraham into the Body of Christ. The gods of Islam will fall as we send in missionaries with the saving message of the Lord Jesus Christ. Also, once we see from Scripture that the Antichrist will come from Syria and not from Europe (see How To Quickly Locate the Antichrist in Scripture), we can also discern that unless and until the strongholds of militant Islam are broken over the Middle East, that the Antichrist simply cannot be revealed in the earth.

            3.    Finally, when we narrowly apply James 5:1-8 (see above) to the United States of America, we can readily see that this terrorist attack on the World Trade Center is but another judgment against the wealth of this nation, a judgment of which God has prophesized in His Word almost 2,000 years ago. If we don't discern the spiritual cause of this attack, we will miss the cure for future attacks against the wealth of this nation. Terrorism as a weapon of mass destruction must and shall be dealt with. But, if there was not a single terrorist left alive in the earth, the attacks against the wealth of the United States would simply arise from another and unrelated source: like Katrina, home foreclosures, bank failures, and Wall Street bailouts. Why, because the spiritual roots of these repeated attack lie not in terrorism or in terrorists, but in America's failure to acknowledge and repent of the terror-based institution of its Christian-sanctioned and Constitutionally-sanctioned slavery. Once this is done, then a simple reading of the text of James 5:4 requires from the country a monetary restitution to the descendants of its former slaves, in order to silence the two cries of the text:

        a. First, the cries of the withheld money of the laborers who reaped down the fields who were killed at will without resistance; and

        b. The cries [prayers] of countless tens of millions of fallen slaves and their descendants on both sides of the Civil War, whose cries [prayers] will be in God's face forever until they are recompensed by Him at fair market value.

In the eyes and heart of God, America has an unpaid debt to its former slaves which has lead to this the second major  recent attack on its wealth. I believe the first of these recent attacks came in the year 2000 when the State of California's two major public utilities, Southern California Edison and Pacific Gas and Electric, in less than a year went from rock-solid, substantial quasi-public institutions to bankruptcy; and led to the recall of California's governor. The magnitude of the Katrina Hurricane and New Orleans' flood in August of 2005 is most certainly connected to these judgments, New Orleans as a major slave portal; and our government's lack of response cannot be understood in a traditional analysis of racism in government institutions and funding priorities, but that economic interests on both sides of the political spectrum want the valuable urban land formerly occupied by America's former slaves for high density upper-middle income residential and commercial development...which will only trigger a further judgment from God's self-executing eternal law of sowing and reaping (see: Gen. 1:11-12; and Gal. 6:7).

Not commonly known by most Americans (who are ignorant of their own history) is that New York City was also a major slave portal; and has a very sordid and bloody slave history of massacres and live burnings (enter "New York slave revolts" in your search engine; or see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/New_York_Slave_Insurrection_of_1741 ). In fact, the worst massacre of slaves in U.S. history occurred not in Mississippi, Alabama or Georgia, but in New York City where for weeks slaves were both hung and burnt alive for spectator sport. Consider also the total devastation by a tornado of Greensburg, Kansas on May 4, 2007[see http://en. wikipedia.org/wiki/Greensburg,_Kansas; for aerial photos see http://www.kansas.com/static/slides/050507tornadoaerials/ or http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/18507621/displaymode/1107/s/2/]. If this kind of total destruction is not caused by a curse: please explain this to me? This cannot be an act of God, because God does not "act" this way. [Enter "bleeding Kansas" in your search engine; or see http://www.pbs.org/wgbh/aia/part4/4p2952.html for an interesting and mostly forgotten piece of American history].

When the cup of sin is full, it spills over into judgment. America's slaves weren't freed in 1865; they were fired! They went from slaves to sharecroppers...and then had to rent the same shacks that they formerly occupied, and buy the same slop that they formerly ate at the master's expense—with the added ingredient of being terrorized at will by roving bands of ex-confederate soldiers under the banner of the Ku Klutz Klan, Knights of the White Camellia, etc., while also having to endure 100 years of lynching. It has been the mercy of God that has stayed judgment for so long. But, God's Word is true [please re-read James 5:1-8, above]. It took Pharaoh 10 plagues before he got the message. Will we in this nation be so foolish as to not recognize that in James 5 God is speaking to the United States of America; and that our financial destiny and prosperitylong after the terrorism issue is settlednot only is in jeopardy, but is about to crumble?

The curse of James 5 is now threatening to plunge not only the United States but the entire world into a deep depression, not only because our global economies are linked—but more important because the seed-capital for the industrialization of the United States, Europe, and by extension the entire world was generated on the backs of African slaves.  What else could be big enough for long enough, with such enormous national and global consequences, for God to have included the details in His Word: not only the judgment of this thing, but its cause as well as cure?

The twin towers of New York City's World Trade Center did not just fall. Neither are the foreclosure crisis, market crashes, and bank bailouts of the United State's 2008 presidential election season merely isolated incidentsbut are each directly connected and with and are the result of the economic judgments of James 5. Slavery brought the twin towers down; and unrepentant slavery will drive the economy of the United States (and likely the world) into a 1930's type depression, or worse, if we as a nation don't repent and make restitution for the sins of our past. This nation's financial future is in our own hands; and what we must do to be healed as a nation is set forth above. Whether you are a believer or not: ask God for a spiritual understanding of these issues, as I am not expounding politics, economics, reparations, or racebut only what God has set forth rather plainly in His Word. The judgment of God's Word has come upon the wealth of the United States. We are the only ones who can remove it. God cannot vary one jot or tittle from the judgments written in the Bible!  I am the Lord; I change not. [See: It Is Not God That Will Judge the USA.]

If you receive this as being from God, whether an American or not, begin to pray the prayer of Daniel 9:4-19substituting the United States where Israel is mentionedas God delights in mercy!

Why New York City's Twin Towers Fell

Isa. 30:25 And [this single event will shake every nation on the earth], and upon every high hill, rivers and streams of waters [the Anointing shall be everywhere as the earth becomes flooded with the Glory of God (Num. 14:21; Hab. 2:14)] in the day of the great slaughter** (James 5:5), when the towers fall [Isaiah proclaimed this event 700 years before the birth of Jesus].

[** The day of slaughter is only used one other time is the Bible, in James 5:5 (see James 5:1-8, above).  The door that the United States has left open, which gave Satan the opportunity to destroy these towers, is its failure to bring repentance, restitution, and closure to our vast remnants of African slavery.]
