The angelic visit continues
10:18 [1] Then there came again and
[2] touched me
[a.]
[one] like the appearance of a man, and
[3] he strengthened me,
[a.]
O man greatly beloved (Dan. 10:11),
[b.]
fear not:
[c.]
peace [be] unto thee,
[d.]
be strong,
yea,
[11.]
be strong.
[5] And when he had spoken unto me,
[a.] I was strengthened, and said,
[11.] Let my lord speak;
[aa.]
for thou hast strengthened me.
[1] Knowest thou wherefore I come unto thee? and
[2] now will I return to fight
[a.] with the prince of Persia [this angel both delivers messages and
fights]: and
[3] when I am gone forth,
[a.]
lo, the prince
of Grecia [the ruler of the darkness over the next world
kingdom in Daniel’s day, the kingdom of
Greece]
[11.] shall come.
It is the archangel, Michael, that is watching over Israel:
and restraining revelation of the
Antichrist
10:21 But
[1] I will show thee
[a.] that which is noted
[11.] in the scripture of truth: and
[2] [there is] none that holdeth [restraineth, withholdeth, letteth, to fasten or seize upon (c/p. 2 Thes. 2:6-7)]
[a.] with me in these things [in the continuous
angelic war over the nation Israel],
[a.] but Michael your prince*
[*Only the archangel, Michael, and his angels are assigned to fight the Devil and his angels for the continuance protection of Israel (Dan. 12:1, Rev. 12:7)]. It is not until Michael’s is removed as a covering over Israel that the Antichrist can be revealed to persecute Israel in the last half of Daniel’s 70th week of years (Dan. 9:24-27; 2 Thes. 2:3-10)].

Evidence that it is Michael who is holding
back the Antichrist
Dan. 10:21 But I will show thee that which is noted in the scripture of truth: and [there is] none that holdeth [restrains, withholds, letteth, to
fasten or seize upon (c/p.
2 Thes. 2:6-7)] with me [the angel, Gabriel] in
these things [in the continuous angelic war over the nation Israel], but
Michael your prince [only
Michael and his angels are assigned to fight the devil and his angels for
the continuance and protection of Israel (Dan. 12:1, Rev.
12:7); it is not until Michael is removed can the
Antichrist be revealed to the world and
desecrate the temple in Jerusalem (Dan.
9:27,
2
Thes. 2:3-5;
2 Thes. 2:6-7;
2 Thes. 2:8); this concerns
Israel, not the Church].
Dan. 12:1 And at that time
shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the
children of thy people [Michael is the archangel over the nation of
Israel]: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was
since there was a nation [even] to that same time: and at that time thy people
shall be delivered [by Michael and his angels from Israel’s 1,260 days
in the wilderness (Rev. 12:6,
Rev. 12:14)], every
one that shall be found written in the
book.
Jude 1:9 Yet Michael
the archangel, when contending with the devil he disputed about the body of
Moses [the body of Moses concerns only the nation of Israel], durst not bring against him a railing
accusation, but said, The Lord rebuke thee.
Rev. 12:6 And the woman [Israel] fled
into the wilderness, where she
hath a place prepared of God, that they [Michael and his angels] should feed
her there a thousand two hundred [and] threescore days.
12:7 And there was war in
heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought [Satan, himself] and
his angels,
12:8 And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in
heaven [in the heavenlies, the earth’s atmosphere].
12:9 And the great dragon was
cast out [by Michael and his angels],
that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world:
he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast
out with him.
12:17 And the dragon was wroth
with the woman [Israel], and went to make war with the remnant of
her seed [Jewish seed], which
[1]
keep the commandments of God [the 4th
Commandment: the
Sabbath...Jewish], and
[2] have the testimony of Jesus Christ [Christian-Jews].
For the last 3 ˝ years of this age [<1,260 days>, <42 months>, and <a time, times and a half> (Rev. 11:2-3; Rev. 12:6, Rev. 12:14)], Satan will cause the greatest persecution that Israel has ever known through the Antichrist. Michael, during this period is removed as the restraining force over Israel, and Satan is allowed to work his will during the reign of the Antichrist and the false prophet (Rev. 13; Dan. 9:27). Two-thirds of Israel will die (Zech. 13:8-9). Following the close of The Antichrist Covenant week of years, there is war in heaven, or the heavenlies (Rev. 12:7; Eph. 6:12). Michael and his angels remove the devil from his position as the prince of the power of the air (Eph. 2:2) and the god of this world (2 Cor. 4:4). He and his angels are cast into the earth, having “great wrath” for he knows that he has only a short time to finish his work (Rev. 12:12)—as there are apparently only 75 days remaining until the second coming of Jesus to reign over the earth (Dan. 12:11-12). This is the third woe prophesied by the Apostle John (Rev: 8:13; Rev. 9:12; Rev. 11:13; Rev. 11:14; Rev. 12:12).
