WHAT TIME IT IS®™
The New Jerusalem is in the shape of a cube
21:16 And the city lieth foursquare, and
[1] the length is as large as the
breadth: and
[2] he measured the city with the
reed,
[a.] twelve thousand
furlongs [1500 miles].
[3] The length and the breadth
and the height of it are equal
[the New Jerusalem is in the shape of a cube: 1500 miles in each
direction—length, breadth and height.
One side of it is thus equivalent to the distance from San Francisco
east to Kansas City; then north to the Hudson Bay in Canada; then west to the
border of Canada and Alaska; and then south, back to San Francisco].
21:17 And
[1] he measured the wall thereof,
[a.] an
hundred [and] forty [and] four cubits [300 ft., at 25 in. per cubit],
[11.] [according to] the measure of a man,
[aa.] that is, of the angel [messenger].
21:18 And
[2] the building of the wall of
it was [of] jasper: and
[3] the city [was] pure gold [vs.21],
[a.] like unto
clear glass.
21:19 And
[4] the foundations of the
wall of the city [were] garnished with all manner of precious stones.
[a.] The first
foundation [was] jasper;
[b.] the
second, sapphire;
[c.] the
third, a chalcedony;
[d.] the
fourth, an emerald;
21:20 [f.] The
fifth, sardonyx;
[g.] the
sixth, sardius;
[h.] the
seventh, chrysolyte;
[i.] the
eighth, beryl;
[j.] the
ninth, a topaz;
[k.] the
tenth, a chrysoprasus;
[l.] the
eleventh, a jacinth;
[m.] the
twelfth, an amethyst.
21:21 And
[5] the twelve gates [were]
twelve pearls:
[a.] every
several gate was of one pearl: and
[6] the street of the city [was] pure gold [vs. 18;
Rev 4:6],
[a.] as it were transparent glass.
21:22 And
[1] I saw no temple
therein:
[a.] for the
Lord God Almighty and
[b.] the Lamb
[11.] are the temple of it.
21:23 And
[2] the city had no need of
[a.] the sun,
neither of
[b.] the moon,
to shine in it:
[11.] for the glory of God did lighten
it, and
[12.] the Lamb [is] the light thereof.
The throne of
the universe
21:24 And
[1] the nations of them which are saved
[a.] shall
walk in the light of it: and
[2] the kings of the earth do
bring their
[a.] glory and
[b.] honour
[11.] into it.
21:25 And
[3] the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day:
[a.] for there
shall be no night there.
21:26 And
[4] they shall bring
[a.] the glory
and
[b.] [the]
honour
[11.] of the nations into it.
[5] there shall in no wise enter into it
[a.] any thing
that defileth, neither
[b.] [whatsoever]
worketh abomination, or
[c.] [whatsoever]
[maketh] a lie:
[c.] [whatsoever]
[maketh] a lie:
[11.] but they which are written
[aa.]
in
the Lamb's book of life.
