WHAT TIME IT IS®

SECOND THESSALONIANS 1 Pg 2

Jesus will be revealed at His second coming with His mighty angels…taking vengeance

1:7  And to you [in Thessalonica] who are troubled [2 Thes. 1:6]

[1] rest with us [the Apostles (2 Thes. 1:1)],

[a.] when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed [#602] from heaven

[11.] with his mighty angels [at His second coming],

[#602, apokalupsis, disclosure, appearing, coming, lighten, manifestation, be revealed, revelation, c/p. 2 Thes. 1:2-3. (Luke 2:32; Rom. 8:19; 16:25; 1 Cor. 1:7; 2 Cor. 12:1, 7; Gal. 2:2; Eph. 1:17; 2 Thes. 1:7; 1 Pet. 1:7, 13; Rev. 1:1]

 1:8

[12.] In flaming fire taking vengeance [His second coming is a time of vengeance] on them that

[aa.] know not God, and that

[bb.] obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:

1:9                                          [cc.] Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction

[111.] from the presence of the Lord, and

                                                            [112.] from the glory of his power  [His Anointing];

1:10               [b.] When he shall come to be

[11.] glorified in his saints, and to be

[12.] admired in all them that believe [the Church, Israel, and those nations which are saved (the sheep nations of Matt. 25:31-46)] in that day [the day in which he shall be revealed…in flaming fire taking vengeance (vs. 8)].

1:11  Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would

[1] count you worthy of [this] calling [worthy of the kingdom of God (2 Thes. 1:5)], and

[2] fulfill all the good pleasure of [his] goodness, and

[3] [fulfill] the work of faith with power [Anointing]:

1:12  That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ [the Anointed One] may be glorified

            [1] in you, and

[2] ye in him, according to

[a.] the grace of our God and

[b.] the [grace of our] Lord Jesus Christ.
