OBEY
THE LORD, OR BE EATEN BY LIONS The
Word of the Lord Concerning a Disobedient Prophet 1
Kings 13:7 And the king said unto
the man of God, Come home with me, and refresh thyself, and I will give thee a
reward. The
Man of God Knew the Word of the Lord 8
And the man of God said unto the king, If thou wilt give me half thine
house, I will not go in with thee, neither will I eat bread nor drink water in
this place: 9
For so was it charged me by the word of
the LORD, saying, Eat no bread, nor drink water, nor turn again by the same way
that thou camest. Judgment
Is Pronounced On the Man of God Who Disobeys the Word of the Lord. 21…Thus
saith the LORD, Forasmuch as thou hast disobeyed the mouth of the LORD, and
hast not kept the commandment which the LORD thy God commanded thee,
22 But camest back, and hast
eaten bread and drunk water in the place, of the which [the LORD] did say to
thee, Eat no bread, and drink no water; thy carcase shall not come unto the
sepulchre of thy fathers. The
Man of God Is Eaten By a Lion for His Disobedience 23 And it came to pass, after he had eaten bread, and after he had drunk, that he saddled for him the ass… 24 And when he was gone, a lion met him by the way, and slew him: and his carcase was cast in the way, and the ass stood by it, the lion also stood by the carcase….. 26 And when the prophet that brought him back from the way heard [thereof], he said, It [is] the man of God, who was disobedient unto the word of the LORD: therefore the LORD hath delivered him unto the lion, which hath torn him, and slain him, according to the word of the LORD, which he spake unto him. [See 1 Kings 20:35-36 for another man of God who was eaten by a lion for his disobedience to the Word of the Lord.] Disobedience
To the Word of the Lord Will Bring the Lions After Me Too A prophetic utterance from the Lord, October 14, 2005 Question: Father, your Word says with what judgment that I judge, shall I be judged. Will the same judgment that I am giving out to the USA for you fall on me: Will you also put out my light of revelation, and even more so?
Answer: “Yes,
that’s true, saith he Lord, but not for the sins of the flesh….
My mercy is bigger than that, saith the Lord.
That’s what the blood of Jesus is for:
to keep you unspotted from the sins of the world…the lust (pressure) of
the flesh, eyes and pride of life. Repent,
over and over, if necessary, and go on with your life, saith the Lord.
I’m not trying to take you out, I’m trying to get you there.
If you loose, I loose, saith the Lord. What
will take you out and cut off your candle of revelation, saith
the Lord, is the sin of being disobedient to me,
of not standing up and giving out for me, when, how and where I tell you,
for the position that you’re in and about to be trust into will require a much
higher level of obedience than you’ve ever known—he who is faithful over a
few things, I will make ruler over many things—in
order to keep from being crushed on every side: the world, the church, the devil, whites, blacks and the
media. All will want a piece of
you; and only obedience can get you through the things that are in front of you,
saith the Lord. Use
this time to practice, for what you’re going through is not what will take you
out, but the other most surely will, saith the Lord.
I know you can’t do it alone in the natural, Walter.
Help is on the way, I promise you, saith the Lord.” Bk7/27 Obedience
Is a Fountain of Youth and Youthfulness "Obedience is a fountain of youth, and a reservoir of opportunity for trouble times and seasons, saith the Lord." The Reward of Obedience A prophetic utterance from the Lord, October 17, 2005 "Opportunities from me are not hard to see, you see, for when they're from me, they're free, so free indeed. Keep yourself in the love of God, looking for mercy, and a sweet knowing and fragrance of my presence..., and I will fill you with my fearless and peaceful presence, that you'll know, 'Yes, this is my time, my time has finally come.' So always be ready, ready, ready, saith the Lord, to totally drop whatever your 'deal' is at a given moment, and hook up with me: and launch out into the deep, deep, deep waters of my love, my grace, and your calling...saith the Lord." © 2005 Walter J.
