12:11
And from the time [that]
[1] the daily [sacrifice]
[a.] shall be taken away [at midweek (Dan.
9:27)], and
[2] the abomination that maketh desolate set up,
[there shall be] a thousand two hundred and ninety days [1260+30].
12:12
Blessed [empowered to
prosper] [is] he that
[1] waiteth, and
[2] cometh
[a.] to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days
[(1260+30+45) These dates are sealed unto the time of the end. Although Jesus has admonished us against date-setting in Acts 1:6-7, yet it appears that the end of this age and His second coming is somewhere between 1260 and 1335 days after the Antichrist breaks his 7-year covenant with the nation Israel (Dan. 9:27; c/p. vs. Dan. 12:6-7,vs. 13)].
Daniel is assured of his part in the first resurrection
12:13
But
[1] go thou thy way
[a.] till the end [be]: for thou
[11.] shalt rest [die in the Lord], and
[12.] stand in thy lot
[aa.] at the end of the days.
[Old Testament saints are to be raised bodily
to enter the earthly
kingdom of heaven at the
second coming of Jesus. They shall inherit the land of Israel
in the boundaries that God originally gave in Genesis 15:18. The Church, however, inherits Jesus, the Father, and
the heavenly city: the New Jerusalem].
