Jesus returns
to the earth to execute judgment
19:11 And I
saw heaven opened, and behold
[1] a white horse; and
[2] he that sat upon him [was]
called
[a.] Faithful and
[b.] True, and
[3] in righteousness he doth
[a.] judge and
[b.] make
war.
19:12 [1] His eyes [were] as a flame of fire, and
[2] on his head [were] many crowns; and
[3] he had a name written, that
no man knew, but he himself.
19:13 And
[4] he [was] clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and
[5] his name is called The Word of God.
19:14 And the armies [which were] in heaven
followed him
[1] upon white horses,
[2] clothed in fine linen
[these are saints (Rev. 19:8)],
[a.] white and
[b.] clean.
[1] out of his mouth goeth
a sharp sword, that
[2] with it he should smite
the nations: and
[3] he shall rule them with a
rod of iron [the Word of God]: and
[4] he treadeth the winepress
of the
[a.] fierceness and
[b.] wrath of Almighty God.
[1] he hath on
[a.] [his]
vesture and
[b.] on his
thigh a name written,
[11.] KING OF KINGS, AND
[12.] LORD OF LORDS.
The marriage supper of the Lamb
19:17 And I
saw an angel standing in the sun; and he cried with a loud voice, saying to all the fowls that fly in the
midst of heaven,
[1] Come and gather yourselves
together unto the supper** of the great
God (Rev.
19:9);
19:18
[2] That ye may eat
[a.] the flesh
of kings, and
[b.] the flesh
of captains, and
[c.] the flesh
of mighty men, and
[d.] the flesh
of horses, and
[e.] [the
flesh] of them that sit on them, and
[f.] the flesh
of all [men, both]
[11.] free and
[12.] bond, both
[13.] small and
[14.] great.
[**The marriage supper of the Lamb (Rev. 19:9) and supper of the great God (vs. 17) are one and the same event. They are a time of judgment, on the earth, and at the battle of Armageddon (Rev. 16:16)].
The Antichrist and False Prophet are cast into the lake of fire
19:19 And I
saw
[1] the beast [the
Antichrist], and
[2] the kings of the earth, and
[3] their armies,
gathered together to make
war against
[a.] him that sat on the horse [Jesus], and
[b.] against his army [of saints]
[1] the beast [the Antichrist]
was taken, and
[2] with him the false prophet that
[a.] wrought
miracles before him,
[b.] with
which he deceived
[11.] them that had received the mark
of the beast, and
[12.] them that worshipped his image.
These both were
[1] cast alive into a lake of fire
[a.] burning with brimstone.
19:21 And
[1] the remnant were slain with the
sword of him
[a.] that sat
upon the horse,
[b.] which
[sword] proceeded out of his mouth: and
[2] all the fowls were filled with their flesh** [vs. 17-18].
