BIBLE ENCYCLOPEDIA OF THE LAST DAYS

REVELATION 5

The seven-sealed book

Rev. 5:1  And I saw in the right hand of him [the Father]

[1] that sat on the throne

a book

                        [a.] written

                                    [11.] within and

                                    [12.] on the backside [full],

                        [b] sealed

[11.] with seven seals.

 5:2  And I saw a strong angel

[1] proclaiming with a loud voice,

                        [a.] Who is worthy

[11.] to open the book, and

[12.] to loose the seals thereof?

  5:3  And no man

            [1] in heaven,

            [2] nor in earth,

[3] neither under the earth [men are in 3 realms (c/p. Rev. 5;13)],

was

[a.] able to open the book,

                        [b.] neither to look thereon.

 5:4  And I wept much,

[1] because no man was found worthy

                        [a.] to open and

[b.] to read the book, neither

                        [c.] to look thereon.

An elder explains the seven-sealed book

5:5  And one of the elders saith unto me,

[1] Weep not:

[2] behold, the

[a.] Lion of the tribe of Juda, the

                        [b.] Root of David,

[11.] hath prevailed [by the conquest of His cross]

[aa.] to open the book, and

[bb.] to loose the seven seals thereof.

Jesus begins to reign over the earth

5:6  And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of

            [1] the throne and of

[2] the four beasts [zoe, angelic living creatures], and

[3] in the midst of the elders [note: no mention of any raptured Church!, c/p. Rev. 5:11],

stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having

                        [a.] seven horns and

                        [b.] seven eyes, which are

[11.] the seven Spirits of God

[aa.] sent forth into all the earth.

5:7  And he [Jesus]

[1] came and

[2] took the book [Jesus begins His reign over the earth (Dan. 7:13-14)]

[a.] out of the right hand of him

[11.] that sat upon the throne.

5:8  And when he had taken the book, the

            [1] four beasts and

            [2] four [and] twenty elders

fell down before the Lamb,

[a.] having every one of them harps [1] [the zoe and the elders…again, no mention of the Church], and

[b.] [having] golden vials full of odours,

[11.] which are the prayers of saints.

[1]The zoe and the elders:

            [1] play harps (vs. 5:8);

[2] handle the prayers of the saints (vs. 5:8); and

[3] sing a new song  (Rev. 5:9) praising God for the redeemed saints [born again] who are still on the earththe un-raptured church!  This is all before the opening of the first seal!
