REVELATION 20 Pg 2

The final rebellion of man against God

20:7  And when the thousand years are expired,

[1] Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

 20:8  And

[2] [Satan] shall go out to deceive the nations

[a.] which are in the four quarters of the earth,

[11.] Gog [the master spirits over these nations (c/p. Ezek 38:2] and

                                    [12.] Magog,

[b.] to gather them together to battle:

[11.] the number of whom [is] as the sand of the sea.

 20:9  And

[3] they [these nations] went up

[a.] on the breadth of the earth, and

                        [b.] compassed [surrounded]

[11.] the camp of the saints about, and

[12.] the beloved city [Jerusalem]: and

[4] fire came down from God

                        [a.] out of heaven, and

                        [b.] devoured them.

Satan’s final end

20:10  And the devil that deceived them [the nations of vs. 8]

[1] was cast into the lake

                        [a.] of fire and

                        [b.] [of] brimstone,

[11.] where the beast [the antichrist] and

[12.] [where] the false prophet [are] [and have been for the thousand years (Rev. 19:20)], and

            [2] shall be tormented

                        [a.] day and

                        [b.] night

                                    [11.] for ever

                                    [12.] and ever.

The great white throne judgment

 20:11  And I saw

[1] a great white throne, and

[2] him that sat on it,

[a.] from whose face (Rev. 6:16)

                                    [11.] the earth and

                                    [12.] the heaven

                                                [aa.] fled away; and

[111.] there was found no place for them [in heaven].

 20:12  And I saw

            [3] the dead,

                        [a.] small and

                        [b.] great,

                                    [11.] stand before God; and

[4] the books were opened: and

            [5] another book was opened,

[a.] which is [the book] of life: and

            [6] the dead were judged

[a.] out of those things which were written in the books,

                        [b.] according to their works.

 20:13  And

[7] the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and

            [8] death and hell

[a.] delivered up the dead which were in them: and

[b.] they were judged every man

                                    [11.] according to their works.

 20:14  And

            [9] death and hell

[a.] were cast into the lake of fire.

[b.] This is the second death. (Rev. 21:8)

 20:15  And

[10.] whosoever was not found written

[a.] in the book of life

[11.] was cast into the lake of fire.
