The Antichrist arises in the latter time of the
Revived Grecian
Empire
8:23 And in the latter time of their kingdom [in the latter
time of the four divisions of Alexander’s kingdom (Dan.
8:22): the Revived
Grecian Empire, which follows
establishment of
the Revised
Roman Empire (Rev. 17:8;

17:9; Rev. 17:16-17; see also

To Quickly Locate the Antichrist in Scripture],
[1] when the transgressors are come to the full,
[2] a king
[a.] of fierce countenance, and
[b.]
understanding dark sentences,
[11.]
shall stand up.
8:24 And
[1] his power shall be mighty,
[a.]
but not by
his own power [his power comes from Satan]: and
[2] he shall destroy wonderfully,
[a.] and shall prosper,
[b.]
and practice, and
[3] [he] shall destroy
[a.] the mighty and
[b.] the holy people [these are the final ingathering harvest of
the 12 tribes of Israel, born again
after the Rapture of the Church (c/p.
Dan. 12:1,
Dan.12:7)].
8:25 And
[4] through his policy also
[a.] he shall cause craft to prosper
[11.]
in his hand; and
[5] he shall magnify [himself]
[a.] in his heart [the spirit of pride,
which goes before destruction and a fall (Pro. 16:18)] and
[6] by peace shall
destroy many [the Antichrist
receives his power by flattery and peaceable means]:
[7] he shall also stand up
[a.] against the Prince of princes [Jesus];
[b.] but he shall be broken without hand.
The
vision is sealed until the
time of the end
8:26 And
[1] the vision
[a.] of the evening and
[b.] [of] the morning [2300 evenings and
mornings, or 1150 days (3 years, 2 months and 10 days); (Dan. 8:13-14)]
[11.]
which was told
[aa.] [is] true:
wherefore
[2] shut thou up the vision;
[a.]
for it [shall
be] for many days [portions of the Book of Daniel have been sealed
until the time of the end (c/p.
Dan.
9:24,
Dan. 12:4,
Dan. 12:9 and
Rev. 10:4)].
The

[The vision is for 2300 evenings and mornings, or 1150 days (3 years, 2 months and 20 days; see Dakes Annotated Reference Bible, pg. 875). This is 110 days short of the 1260 days, 42 months (30-day months); or time, times, and a half (time = one 360-day year / times = two 360-day years / a half = half a year or 180 days—all of which equals the same 1260 days or 42 months) of:

[2] Israel’s flight into the wilderness (Rev. 12:6); <1260 days>
[3] Israel's flight in to the wilderness (Rev. 12:14); <time, times, and a half>

revived Greece (Rev. 13:5)] <42 months>
8:27 And I Daniel fainted,
and was sick [certain] days; afterward I rose up, and did the king's business;
and I was astonished at the vision, but none understood [it].
