17:9 And
[1] here [is] the mind which hath wisdom.
[2] The seven heads
[a.]
are seven
mountains
[kingdoms],
[11.] on which the woman
sitteth.
the demonic
rulers of the darkness that ride the
beast
17:10 And there are seven kings [kingdoms with kings]:
[1] five are fallen [Egypt,
Assyria, Babylon, Medo-Persia and Greece], and
[2] one is [Rome (in
John’s day)], [and] the
[3] other is not yet come; and
[4] when he [revised
Rome
(vs. 12)] cometh,
[a.] he must continue a short space [the first 3 ½ years of the Antichrist Covenant week of years, while the Antichrist is coming to power. NOTE: the revised Roman Empire (vs. 12) doesn't come into existence until this 7th king is crowned.].
the 8th and final kingdom to oppress Israel
17:11 And the beast
[1] that was, and
[2] is not, even
[3] he is the eighth [the eighth
mountain kingdom (revived Greece); the prince of Grecia is the demonic force that will control the Antichrist;
it will be Satan’s last Gentile kingdom
to rule Israel before Jesus establishes His millennial reign over the earth (c/p.

rulers of 10 kingdoms, each having a

Rev. 17:12-17], which
[a.] have received no kingdom as
yet [the European Economic Union is only a shadow of what is to
come]; but
[b.] receive power as kings
[11.] one hour with the beast [their
power comes upon them suddenly…to agree to destroy
religious Babylon (Rev.
17:16-17)].
The 10 kings submit to the Antichrist's rule
[at or before midweek]
17:13 These
[1] have one mind, and
[2] shall give their power (Rev.
17:16-17) and
[3] [shall give their] strength
[a.] unto the beast.
the 9th and final world kingdom
17:14 These
[the 10 kings]
shall
[4] make war with the Lamb, and
[a.] the Lamb shall overcome them:
for he is
[11.] Lord of lords, and
[12.] King
of kings: and
[13.] they that are with him [His
Church (Rev. 19:14)] [are]
[aa.] called, and
[ab.] chosen, and
[ac.] faithful.
17:15 And he saith unto
me,
[1] The waters
(Rev.
17:1) which thou sawest,
[a.] where the whore sitteth [world religion sits on people],
[11.] are peoples,
[12.] and multitudes,
[13.] and nations,
[14.] and tongues.
The ten horns destroy
mystery
(religious) Babylon
17:16 And the ten horns
(Rev.
17:3;
Rev. 17:12)
which thou sawest
[1] upon the beast, these
[a.] shall hate the whore, and
[b.] shall make her desolate and
[c.] [shall make her] naked, and
[d.] shall eat her flesh, and
[e.] [shall] burn her with fire.
17:17 For God hath put in their hearts
[1] to fulfil his will, and
[2] to agree, and
[3] [to] give their kingdom
[a.] unto the beast,
[11.] until the words of God shall be
fulfilled.
[This 10-nation revised
Roman confederacy by <<mid week>> will utterly destroy religious
Babylon—represented by the woman—which is the great city which exercises ecumenical dominion over the kings
of the earth (
