Four world kingdoms shall arise
7:15 I Daniel
[1] was grieved in my spirit
[a.]
in the midst of [my] body, and
[2] the visions of my head troubled me.
7:16 [3] I came near unto one of them
[a.] that stood by [an angel], and
[4] [I] asked him the truth of all this. So
[a.] he told me, and
[b.] made me know the interpretation of the things.
7:17 These great beasts, which are four,
[1] [are] four kings [kingdoms having
kings],
[a.] [which] shall arise out of the
earth (Rev. 13:11; c/p.
Dan.
7:2-3).
7:18 But the saints of the most High [Jews
born again after the Rapture of the Church (vs. 21); they are called holy
(Dan.
8:24; Rev.
20:6)] shall
[1] take the kingdom [the
millennial kingdom of heaven on the earth], and
[2] possess the kingdom
[a.] for ever, even for ever and ever [these saints take and possess the everlasting kingdom of the Son of man: on the earth
(Dan.
7:14), while the Church is given the New Jerusalem in heaven]
7:19 Then I would know the truth of the fourth beast [Rome],
[1] which was
diverse from all the others,
[a.] exceeding dreadful,
[2] whose
teeth [were of] iron, and
[3] his nails [of] brass;
[a.]
[which] devoured,
[b.]
brake in pieces, and
[c.]
stamped the residue with his feet;
7:20 [4] And of the ten horns [kings] that [were]
[a.] in his head,
[5] and [of]
the other [the little horn] which came up, and
[a.] before whom three fell; even [of]
[b.] that horn
[11.] that had eyes, and
[12.] [that had] a mouth that
spake very great things,
[13.] whose look [was] more stout than his fellows.
Saints are overcome by the
Antichrist…until
the Father intervenes
7:21 I beheld, and the same horn [the little horn]
[1] made war with the saints [the saints of the most high (Dan 7:18;
Dan. 7:25)], and
[2] prevailed against them [these are born again Christians inside the territories or jurisdiction of the old Grecian Empire, which is the dominion of the Antichrist (Rev. 12:17, Rev. 13:7);
7:22
Until
[1] the
Ancient of days came [the Father comes to the a earth at the Second
Advent], and
[2] judgment was given
[a.] to the saints of the most High (Rev. 20:4); and
[3] the time came that the saints
[a.] possessed the kingdom (Dan 7:18, Rev.
20:6).
